About Costa Del Sol

Costa del Sol Region

The Costa Del Sol (Sun Coast) is situated in the province of Andalucía and is the most southerly region of Spain with over 150 kilometres of golden beaches. The region boosts a great climate with 325 plus days of sunshine each year making this an ideal location to purchase a property for either a holiday home or permanent living. The mild mediterranean climate also offers a relaxed lifestyle and includes excellent restaurants, bars, shops and leisure facilities. If Golf is your passion there are an abundance of fantastic Costa Del Sol Golf Courses throughout the province to suit all abilities and handicaps.

Malaga Airport is the main airport that serves the region, but if you are prepared to drive from another Spanish regional airport, Jerez, Seville, Gibraltar, Granada or Almeria may prove to be a more convenient and cost effective route from your home destination. The road network throughout Spain is very good and driving around Spain is very easy. Regular Ferries from the UK serve the Spanish north-west ports of Santander and Bilbao and the drive down to the Costa Del Sol, although long, is relatively easy.

All in all the Costa Del Sol offers the opportunity of a great relaxed lifestyle in a wonderful all year round mediterranean climate. Properties range from modest affordable apartments, townhouses villas and golf resort locations to ultra luxurious properties. The Costa Del Sol has so much to offer for everyone both in lifestyle and property.
